Quello che puo fare di un buon cavaliere un Maestro è la voglia di continuare a studiare, sperimentare e lavorare con tanti cavalli e di ogni tipologia. Il saper scegliere una strada piuttosto che un’altra in base alle caratteristiche psicofisiche di ciascun cavallo è di sicuro la cosa piu difficile… Ma è solo attraverso questo cammino che si arriva al punto in cui non siamo piu sicuri di sapere se siamo noi che insegniamo ai cavalli o loro che insegnano a noi. Il maestro è l’uomo o il cavallo? Io non lo so, ma ciclicamente questo quesito si insinua nella mia mente.  F. M.

In my opinion, a good rider can become a Master if he desires to carry on studying, experimenting, and working with several horses belonging to several races. The most difficult thing in training an horse is the choice of a path rather than another according to his psychophysical attitudes. However, only this path can lead to the moment in which we are not able to decide whether we are training the horse or the horse is training us. Who is the Master? The horse or the rider? I am not able to answer to this question, but this question cyclically occurs to me. F. M.
